#Blogmas: Day 12

Welcome to Day 12 on the road to 25 days of Blogmas. Last night me and my family did Arts & Crafts. Here is how the experience played out for us.

The night started with our table being clean covered with trash bags. By the end of the night, me, my son and our table were covered in paint. I must admit I had a blast!!! It was fun being creative, painting and living in the moment like when I was younger.

The peak of my night was seeing how something so simple made my son so happy. After waking up from his nap, he saw the dining table set up with paintbrushes and coloring pages which lit his face up. He then looked at me for confirmation before running to the table. Even though he is only two, I felt we were on the same page while we were painting. It also provided us a great opportunity to bond. Arts & Crafts night was awesome and I would suggest to any and all parents.

If you have children and looking for an affordable way to bond without leaving the house, I say give it a try. It gives your child a chance to be creative and helps build their imagination. Clean up is minimal and memories last forever. Remember, family time is bonding time. Let your children know you are there for and with them.
