This morning my family and I took a trip to get our Christmas pictures taken with Santa. For today’s topic I will be talking briefly of memories about Christmas pictures with my family.
Today, my family woke up , got dressed and headed to the store to have Christmas pictures taken. It was a short drive to the store. Once there, we headed to the back of the store where the pictures are taken. As we got closer, my son recognized the area and started to lead us where to go next.As I have already said before, my son is the most photogenic child I have met . And his performance today solidified that.
We had to sit in front of a plexiglass divider separating us from Santa. My son had to be the most behaved 2 year old that took pictures today. He sat up straight without anyone telling him to. My only issue was how he smiled for the pictures. Normally, he smiles anyone says, “Cheese.” For the pictures he curled his bottom lip in and bit down on it. At least he was sitting still, he makes me a proud parent whenever he acts good in public. The photographer agreed with me, giving him 3 peppermint canes for his good work.
Having such a quick photo session today, reminds me of the times when I was younger and took pictures with my family. There was 7 of us in the house at the time and took an average 30 minutes to get everyone sitting still for the picture. The two adults had a time wrangling all the growing personalities. It’s a wonder they did because had that been me… I wish we had the pictures from those days so that I could show them to you all.
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
