2020: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

2020 was a year to remember. A lot has happened around the globe in good ways and bad. The world’s flashlight has given us a look around us. This blog post will be my reflection of the effects it had on me and what I was able to accomplish.

The Good

With so much going on in 2020, it is easy to focus on what went wrong over the good. For me, my list for the good outweighs the other two categories and I am grateful for that.

  1. Blog page
-I bought my first domain for my blog, Nothin to Somethin (Check It Out)
  2. 25 Days of Blogmas
-Completed my first consistent blogging challenge
  3. 2nd Anniversary
-Went to Athens, Georgia with my wife to celebrate
  4. 2 New Additions to My Family
-My first niece and nephew were born this year
-Drove 7 hours to be there for my nephew
  5. Bonded with my Son
    -Learned his likes and dislikes
-He has learned me equally as much about me
  6. Started Paying off Debt
-It is always hard to say good-bye to money but it’s the first step of many toward financial freedom
  7. Music
-Released 13 songs on YouTube, SoundCloud and Streaming Services
    -Uploaded 5 beats on YouTube
  8. Writing
    -Got passionate about my craft
    -Read multiple books about poetry
-Did research on blogging and launched my first blog

The Bad

The Pandemic
Different curfews went into place all over the world

Everyone had to start wearing masks

The Ugly

Social Distancing
6 Foot Spacing

Couldn’t visit my family for the holidays

2020 was a wild ride that taught me a lot about myself, the world and my family. I am grateful for the little things that I was able to hold on to and the hobbies I was able to work on this year. God bless everyone and to a better 2021. Cheers!!!
