Object Writing Page 5 – Pillow

Red and fluffy is the color of the pillow I decide to lay my head on this morning. You have to love the softness something so small can offer. It’s a nice pillow but not close to being my favorite. I will leave that title to the large green pillow on the other couch in front of me. I don’t know what a thread count is, but I would guess the green one has a lot of them. The way it sits on the other couch, is almost inviting me to sit next to it, to use it for comfort. I have to see what it wants right? Otherwise I’d be rude. Completely abandoning my first red smaller pillow, I stand up from the couch. I stand there for a moment staring to the point it begins to awkward. I strike at my prey faster than a hawk in search of it’s lunch. My head sinks in, causing my worries to…. almost… melt away. “I didn’t know they made cloud tangible now..”, I say to myself as I grab the blue cover on the edge of the couch. Now this is what dreams are made of. Now that I’m comfortable I roll over to face the TV…
