Balloons… from the weird way it’s spelled and said, to the concept of how it’s made, is one of those little things in life for me. My son, KJ, loves to tire himself out for hours teaching balloons they don’t belong on the floor. Anytime I see a cluster of balloons, I immediately see hallways of stadiums flooded with people looking to congratulate others. The only purpose for these helium-filled banners is to let everyone know someone is great. When we finally reach our destination, exchanges of hugs and kisses are flung around like cake at a pre-schooler’s birthday party. The banners are then handed off, like a baton, signifying an achievement allowing them to now strut around letting others know what they’ve done.
