Object Writing Page 22 – Rollercoaster

I’m not much of the “thrill seeker” type but strangely enough I love to ride roller coasters. My first experience I remember is when I was 15. It was in the summertime so of course I wore shorts above my knees and a shirt that came over my elbows. And no, I was not trying out for a circus. The over packed amusement park featured 30 minute wait lines, large crowds and food stands filled with men fetching foods and drinks for their families. My eyes were set on the Mega Mixer, 30 loops, upside down holds, this coaster was one in it’s own class. After riding the smaller qualifying rides, the Mixer deemed us worthy and called us over. It only required 10 tickets and an hour and a half wait in 90 degree heat. An hour and a half and two buckets full of sweat later, we were finally on the ride. The bar came down over our laps, they said “for safety“. The ride started taking us slowly uphill. My heart is racing at this point…….
