Object Writing Page 26 – The Bowling Alley

The older I get, the less interested I am in activities I used to enjoy when I was younger. At the same time, I’m starting to like things I didn’t know existed before. One of my favorite things to do right now is going to the bowling alley. The sound of clustering pins exploding can be heard when you open the front door. The smell of nachos and chicken wings offer a distraction from the main reason for coming, to bowl. Due to COVID, the sight of a building filled with people makes me nervous and cross my arms. When I go bowling with other people, regardless of their skill level, I HAVE to be the person with the highest score every game. I love being on-stage knowing there are people watching as I toss my 15 pound bowling ball down the lane. The explosion shortly after tells me I successfully completed my mission. Any sound other than that means I have to change something up….
